Moscú, 5 abr (PL) El secretario norteamericano de Estado, Rex Tillerson, viajará el martes próximo a esta capital, donde abordará con su similar ruso, Serguei Lavrov, los temas de Siria, Ucrania, seguridad y antiterrorismo, informó hoy la cancillería.
Durante los dos días de la visita de trabajo de Tillerson a la capital rusa, la primera en calidad de jefe de la diplomacia estadounidense, analizará, además, el diferendo palestino-israelí, la situación en Iraq y el control de armamentos, señala una nota comentada del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores.
En los últimos años, por iniciativa de la anterior administración en la Casa Blanca, las relaciones bilaterales sufrieron un serio retroceso, destaca la cartera.
Vemos de forma positiva los esfuerzos de la nueva administración por cambiar positivamente tal situación, pero partimos del hecho de que debemos guiarnos por acciones concretas, señala el texto.
De nuestra parte, estamos abiertos a la cooperación en diferentes esferas sobre la base de los principios de igualdad, no injerencia en los asuntos internos y el respeto de los intereses mutuos, agrega.
Las pláticas entre los jefes de las diplomacia de Estados Unidos y Rusia versarán sobre las tareas actuales de la comunidad internacional para garantizar la seguridad mundial y que requieren de esfuerzos conjuntos de ambos países, afirma la declaración.
Entre esas tareas esta la lucha contra el terrorismo internacional, incluido contra el movimiento Estado Islámico y el Frente Al Nusra y otras agrupaciones que tratan de apoderarse del territorio sirio, aclara la nota.
Además, ello abarca la búsqueda de soluciones para los conflictos en el referido país levantino, en Yemen y Libia, entre otros, afirma el documento oficial.
Lavrov y Tillerson también prestarán especial atención a una salida pacífica de la crisis en Ucrania, sobre todo, a partir de la necesidad de que su gobierno cumpla con los acuerdos pactados en Minsk, en febrero de 2015, subraya la cancillería de Rusia.
Además expresa su esperanza en poder hallar soluciones para eliminar acciones incómodas para los nexos bilaterales.
Ello incluye el arresto de rusos en terceras naciones por fuerzas estadounidenses, violación en el país norteño de los derechos de los niños rusos adaptados o la creación de obstáculos artificiales para el trabajo legalmente establecido de nuestros diplomáticos, apunta.
Esperamos que la visita de Tillerson ayude a llevar las relaciones bilaterales a una trayectoria de desarrollo positiva y permanente, subraya.
